Plymouth, MA – August 21 – SGS Maine Pointe, a leading supply chain and operations consultancy, is pleased to announce the appointment of Gina Rendar as Managing Director, Head of Commercial Excellence. In this key leadership role, Gina will oversee all commercial functions, including business identification, account development, strategy, and the full spectrum of sales and marketing initiatives. She will also lead efforts to expand the firm's market share in the life sciences and pharmaceutical sectors, capitalizing on the momentum the company has built in recent years.
Gina Rendar joins SGS Maine Pointe with over 30 years of experience as an executive and business transformation leader. Her extensive background in P&L management, corporate strategy, operations, procurement and supply chain strategies, and performance improvement will be critical as the company continues to enhance its commercial strategy and drive growth.

Before joining SGS Maine Pointe, Gina held senior leadership roles across various industries. Most recently, she served as the divisional head at a leading technology firm specializing in simulations, digital twins, and process controls. Prior to that, she led the global sales and marketing team at Competitive Capabilities International (CCI), where she played a key role in shaping and implementing the company’s global growth strategy.
Gina has also held significant leadership positions at U.S. Steel, State Street Corporation, Cinram International, PolyOne Corporation, and Bayer AG. Throughout her career, she has managed high-performance teams, developed high-ROI programs, and directed procurement strategies, demonstrating her ability to drive results and foster growth.
Gina will report directly to CEO Joseph Esteves and will join SGS Maine Pointe's Executive Leadership Team. She will lead the Managing Directors and Directors of the business development teams, as well as the company’s marketing personnel.
