David Critchley Joins SGS Maine Pointe as Managing Director, Business Development, Industrial and Consumer Products & Services

Plymouth, MA June 04, 2024 -- Global supply chain and operations implementation consulting firm SGS Maine Pointe, a member of the SGS Group, has named David Critchley as Managing Director, Business Development for Industrial and Consumer Products & Services. With a long and successful career, Critchley’s passion for solving problems and track record of delivering tangible impact has helped transform end-to-end supply chains and deliver millions of dollars in annual savings.

Critchley has worked across multiple industries, with a specialty in the consumer and industrial products sector. His successes include partnering with senior leaders of an oil specialty products company to redesign the operating model and optimize the company’s end-to-end supply chain, resulting in over $100 million in annual savings. He also illustrated his transformational expertise with a leading telecommunications provider, transforming their ordering, provisioning, and installation of services, which improved customer delivery time by 30%.

Prior to joining SGS Maine Pointe, Critchley held executive positions at West Monroe Partners, where his experience in the end-to-end supply chain and operations, strategy and performance excellence delivered consistent, positive results to his clients. Additional previous experience includes 12 years in industry, before working in consulting roles with Accenture and IBM Global Business Services. He was also the founder and CEO of DC Squared Consulting Services.

Critchley holds two patents for technology applications in the freight rail industry, and he has also earned awards for development of new methods for vacuum envelope and housing fabrication and design, as well as for project engineering and leadership development. Critchley has a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Utah, and is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
