President Anthony Prosser Becomes CEO While Founder Steven Bowen Takes on New Duties as Chairman
(Boston, Mass. -- July 24, 2014) Maine Pointe, a leader in sustainable global supply chain transformation, has expanded two significant leadership roles as part of an ongoing strategy to strengthen its growth trajectory.
Anthony "Tony" Prosser, who joined the firm last October as President, has assumed additional responsibilities with the title of Chief Executive Officer while Founder Steven Bowen becomes Chairman to encompass a greater emphasis on the firm's long-term strategic development. Both appointments became effective on July 1.
In his expanded role, Prosser assumes full responsibility for day-to-day management of Maine Pointe: From shaping its differentiated value proposition as client needs expand to ensuring that the company continues its strong financial performance in support of its growth ambitions -- which include plans for further expansion into Europe through the end of this year.

With a new title as Chairman, Bowen will turn his attention to spearheading Maine Pointe's evolution in several key areas: the building of greater brand recognition for business development and new talent recruiting, establishing a Board of Directors, and securing additional financial options to support growth.
Bowen and Prosser will continue their close working relationship that is part of an evolving governance structure reflective of the company's maturity. Maine Pointe celebrates its tenth anniversary this year. Prosser will continue to report to Bowen and a new Board of Directors, which is expected to be announced in the fall.
