The Challenge
With an aggressive goal to double revenue in 5 years, our client understood the challenges and sought SGS-Maine Pointe’s expertise to define and resolve their strategies. Their Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process was not clearly defined and broadly misunderstood, and therefore did not add value to the organization. With many issues causing day-to-day firefighting and short-notice schedule changes, our client was struggling to reach a mid-term view that would lower induced production turbulence.
