Alex Bevacqua

Managing Director, co-Head of Natural Resources, Mining & Metals

Alex has more than 27 years of management consulting experience, primarily in business strategy development, performance improvement, and large transformational agendas that shape and drive long-term strategic vision. He draws on detailed knowledge of numerous mining-related projects throughout the world and has served as a trusted advisor to the presidents of two different countries. In his role as an advisor to these Presidents, Alex led the monetization strategy needed to deliver sustainable economic growth.

His leadership and consulting skills are well-recognized, as he consistently delivers results and builds high-performance, client-centric teams across different geographies. He has built teams, lived, and worked on four continents. Before joining SGS Maine Pointe, Alex was a Managing Director at Accenture, where he led the Natural Resources practice. Before his tenure at Accenture, Alex was the Global Head of Mining and Metals consulting at Wood Mackenzie.

Alex holds an MBA from Bond University, a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires, and has completed the Developing Strategy for Value Creation program at London Business School. His areas of expertise include performance improvement, digital transformation, global account management, and business strategy development.
